As a designer, I love developing strong and simple core mechanics that can be explored in exciting and subversive ways. My mission in games is to take these simple mechanics and explore their applications within more complex systems and unexpected environments.

My biggest inspirations are games that focus on mechanical simplicity with high skill ceilings and, well, absurdity! Games such as the WarioWare series, Katamari Damacy, and Patapon are good examples of that have immensely influenced by design philosophy.

I love finding efficient and simple ways to go from ideation to documentation to playable prototype as fast as possible. As someone who loves playtesting (and more importantly, breaking) mechanics, I think being able to transform a concept into a game is an incredibly important skill, and a process I've been refining for years now.

When I'm not making or playing games, I enjoy making coffee, incessantly analyzing media and pop culture, pixel art and listening to indie music
